Jean-Eudes from Blue Lagoon , captain but above all a passionate naturalist guide, offers you a half-day outing in the lagoon. You will discover an incredible ecosystem between sea and river: the mangrove! A few stories and anecdotes later, “John John” will accompany you to the clear waters of the lagoon. It's time to get wet! ... equipped with fins, masks and snorkels to meet the tropical fish that inhabit the magnificent seabed, they are in fact used to finding refuge among the corals!
Félix, captain and guide of Nico Excursion offers 7 stops, between islets, boat wreck, mangrove and lagoon. This is our customers' favorite excursion! Good humor, fun and something to feast your eyes on for lovely memories. You will visit preserved places and learn the right actions to avoid disturbing all the small creatures you will come across.
During these outings, the captains will be able to please adults and children alike by unearthing some more or less well-known curiosities: starfish, brittle stars, diademed sea urchins and even sea cucumbers! They will then explain to you how these animals live before releasing them into their natural and preserved environment...
This nautical escapade will end around a vibrant and refreshing planter, on the Blanc islet or the Caret islet (pay attention to the pronunciation of this one, here we pronounce the silent T), tiny strip of sand in the middle of the lagoon, which are home to bird and turtle nests! A great outing that we promise will be full of discoveries just a few minutes from the Jardin des Hummingbirds…
