A unique moment with Guadeloupe Evasion Découverte…

Deshaies occupies a privileged location for observing cetaceans in the Caribbean Sea. Aboard a 14-meter catamaran, Jean Pierre and his team will take you several times a week, depending on the season, for half a day of observation and listening!

Cédric the naturalist guide is perched on the roof of the catamaran, his eye fixed on the horizon... The boat stops, a listen with the hydrophone, the direction is given... Everyone looks around, spots birds in the distance sign of the presence of underwater life, some read the numerous works on the cetaceans present on board, Cédric tells some fascinating anecdotes, saying that he has already encountered orcas here... And suddenly, here we go! A breath in the blue… sperm whale or humpback whale?
